:I startet this thead here and I guess it is the best to continue here.
:First you have started to place a template to welcome all new users on this wiki and you've done it writing <code><nowiki>{{sd}} ~~~~</nowiki></code> to the talk pages. Since you have categories depending of the date of welcoming the user you should not use this string. I does not work. You have to use <code><nowiki>{{subst:sd}} ~~~~</nowiki></code> instead which expand the template to plain wikitext and the category works.
:I have a bot for doing such things. If you like it, give me a hint.
:But first I guess there are other things which should be made on this new wiki and your community seem to be not very big. If you have any questions do not hestiate to ask me. Just ping me on one of my talk page of any wiki including here. Or you can contact me via IRC in channel #wikipedia-de-bots or #pywikipediabot.
